About the Owners
Wayne is a born and raised South African who has over fifteen years experience in hospitality from barman to director, and has spent endless hours hiking the Drakensberg. He loves doing anything outdoors. Sereena is from the US, but has traveled to over 30 countries, with experience in marketing and event planning. Her passions are sustainability, hiking, and homesteading. Together they are a perfect team determined on making a eco-friendly holiday destination to give everyone the opportunity to come relax, have some fun, and soak up the beauty of the Drakensberg.

Alongside our mission to create a memorable vacation for all of our guests, we are also working on becoming a shining example of eco tourism in the Drakensberg. When you come to stay at Aspen Villa, we want you not only to reconnect with your loved ones or yourself, but with the nature around you. We are taking steps to become a zero waste, low impact, self sufficient, vacation destination without compromising the comfort or experience of our guests.
